Why are EXTENSIONS so expensive?

For several reasons. First off, someone spends months even years growing their hair to sell, so they just don’t give it away. Second, a company has to collect, sort, sanitize, color, bond, package, and ship hair to the stylist. Then an extremely skilled professional has to take time and energy to carefully craft a new look on a client. Additionally, the hair isn’t growing from your head, even though we do a fierce job at making it look that way. There are special care instructions and routine that must be followed daily, as well as continuous maintenance. No matter what you may have heard, there is no such thing as maintenance-free extensions. So that’s a top-line summary of why extensions aren’t cheap.

How long does my hair need to be to get extensions?

We are very talented but not magicians. The ideal length is hair at your shoulders or longer however, your hair needs to be long enough to pull into a small ponytail at least. That gives us enough to work with and gives you enough hair to cover the extensions. If you have shorter hair then that and still want extensions, reach out to us and we will explain the results in a realistic manner.

WHICH EXTENSION IS LEAST DAMAGING?

Extensions aren’t damaging if installed and taken care of correctly. Abiding by the manufactures recommended care routine is imperative for a damage free result. By following the care instructions and maintenance routine, you can wear extensions for years to come.

Can you remove another brand’s extensions?

No, unfortunately we are unable to remove another brand’s extensions due to each brand having a specially formulated remover needed. You would have to have your extensions removed prior to your service with us.

WHICH EXTENSION IS CHEAPER?

Tape-ins are a great way to start out your extension journey and are a lower cost to start with.

What does the price include?

The listed price includes the following: new high quality hair, the install, blending of the new hair, and a complementary styling of your new mane. Since most of the method’s hair is reusable you only pay a fraction of the price to maintain the look.

YES, all the hair we use is 100% Premium Remi. We source the highest quality hair extensions in the world for our team to use.

WHERE DOES THE HAIR COME FROM?

Each of the different types of extension methods source hair from different parts of the world. Our hair is ethically sourced from Europe, India, and Asia, for the most natural and realistic blend.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY NEW LOOK?

You will care for your new look just as you would for your own natural hair. We recommend you brush your hair twice daily, tie it back in a braid or ponytail before bed, and sleep on a satin pillow case. During your initial appointment your Extensionist will walk you through the daily care, maintenance, and styling of your new look.

CAN I CONTINUE TO GO TO MY REGULAR HAIR STYLIST?

Yes, you can continue to visit your stylist. Make sure they know how to work with extensions. Regardless how talented a stylist is, we can’t guarantee the lifespan of the hair if you have color done somewhere else.

What brand of hair do we use?

We only use the best hair on the market for our clients. We use HairDreams for the Nano Bonds and we use our own brand of hair for the other methods.

HOW DO I ORDER PRODUCTS FOR MY EXTENSIONS?

No worries, we have you covered here. During the first visit you will receive an At-Home care kit. Once you run out of items, you can purchase your needed items on our store and have them shipped to you in a few easy clicks.

HOW LONG CAN I WEAR EXTENSIONS?

Each of the different extension methods has a different wearing period. It can be from 4 weeks to 4 months. You can find that information, on each of the extension method pages. During your maintenance visit your extensionist will check on them and let you know how everything is looking. Some of our clients have been wearing extensions for over 15 years. With proper care and maintenance, you can wear extension indefinitely.
